At GraveLink, we take the privacy of our users and the dignity of the memorials they create seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and payment information when you create an account or make a purchase. We also collect the content you upload to memorial pages, including photos, videos, and biographical text. We automatically collect certain technical information such as IP address, browser type, and usage data when you use the Service.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, to process payments, to communicate with you about your account, and to send occasional product updates (which you may opt out of at any time). We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use memorial content for advertising purposes.
By default, memorial pages are publicly accessible to anyone with the link or QR code. You may set a memorial to private, requiring a password for access, from your account settings. Guest book entries are visible to all visitors of a public memorial page.
We retain your account information and memorial content for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. Given our commitment to lifetime memorial hosting, we intend to retain memorial content indefinitely. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting [email protected].
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Service. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the Service.
We use third-party services for payment processing (Stripe) and cloud storage. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your GraveLink account.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at [email protected].
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at [email protected].
